RAISING TEENAGERS THAT AREN’T REBELLIOUS
Our four children walk in Truth. They all love the Lord and for this, we are very thankful. There is no greater joy, as God’s Word tells us. I am going to tell you how we raised them. I know there are no guarantees. Some parents raise their children in the Lord and they will still turn away from the Lord. There’s no special formula, but I will share what we did.
We were strict parents as I have shared many times, even when they were in high school. When they were young, we dealt with any hint of rebellion from the moment we saw it. We didn’t allow disobedience or temper tantrums. Our children knew that when we said, “No!” that we meant it. We taught them that they couldn’t cry or throw a temper tantrum if we told them no. The earlier you begin to train them, the easier it is. They grew up knowing we were the ones in authority over them. We taught them to respect God’s authority structure.
As they grew older, we worked a lot with their thinking since the battle is in the mind. Satan caught Eve in his trap by making her question in her mind God’s will for her. People turn to sodomy and changing genders because they’ve allowed a thought into their mind that sprouted and became reality for them. We taught them to kick out thoughts that weren’t biblical and replace them with truth. If they came to us with a wrong thought, we taught them truth.
We took them to church faithfully even though looking back, they were lukewarm churches but I always had a hunger for God’s Word and His will. My children knew this. I was always sharing with them what I had learned that day. (Now, I have Twitter to do this!) I love learning and I love teaching, so my children were always getting an earful of what I was learning and being convicted about.
I faithfully took them to AWANA every Thursday night even though I was terribly sick during those years. I worked with them weekly on memorizing their verses. I read the Bible to them often. We spoke about the Lord to them consistently. I was determined to raise godly offspring.
Thankfully, my husband and I were on the same page in disciplining them. We didn’t want brats. We wanted good children. We backed each other up. I did the bulk of the training and teaching when they were young, since he was often gone traveling away from home. I was strict, however, and they knew they couldn’t get away with anything with me.
They all attended the local elementary school. Something happened that made me strongly convicted about not sending them to the public junior high, so I homeschooled them. (Each had a different time line of when they were homeschooled and when they eventually attended a small Christian high school.) Homeschool was very casual. They would read great literature for two hours and then do an hour of math. That was it! I figured if they were great readers and good at math, everything else would come easy for them.
We carefully monitored their friends and what they watched and read. We backed up all of our “rules” with reasons and God’s Word. We wanted them to know that once they left our home, the rules we taught them were backed by God Himself.
They attended a small Christian high school that we all loved. The headmaster was a godly man who knew the students and taught his staff the Word consistently. My children loved it! They had a uniform policy so that made it easy. My oldest daughter was heavy into ballet. My sons played baseball and basketball all four years. My youngest daughter took some ballet and played some soccer.
We didn’t make the girls only wear dresses but we wanted them to dress modestly. We had a 10:00 pm curfew even through high school. We didn’t allow them to go to the movies if they were garbage. They didn’t do sleepovers. We had a good relationship with all of them. They weren’t perfect, but they were good teenagers whom we enjoyed immensely. The teachers and coaches raved about them to us.
We taught them self-control from a young age, and it has served them well all of their lives. We taught them that life isn’t fair. They saw me suffering for most of their childhood, yet I never questioned God nor walked away from the faith. My faith only grew stronger. I had them listen to strong, bold preachers in high school.
We didn’t let them date to date. We wanted them to date to see if he/she was the right one to marry. In high school, everything had to be done in groups. They were all emotionally stable and secure so this was fairly easy for them to do. They all wanted to marry godly spouses and were willing to wait until they found one.
We still have a great relationship with them. We know we are blessed and thankful. We did the best that we knew how to raise them. Of course, we weren’t perfect parents, but we did seek the Lord for wisdom in raising them. They felt deeply loved and cared for by us even though we were strict. I actually believe children feel more loved and cared for by parents who are strict and protect them. Our children sure did!

Wikipediawill tell you that the book “A Racial Program for the 20th Century” (1912) is another anti-Semitic hoax. It says the book and author Israel Cohen didn’t exist.
The reason for this lie? This book contains a famous passage that reveals the Communist race strategy, later applied to women and minorities in the guise of “feminism” and “diversity”:

By propounding into the consciousness of the dark races that for centuries they have been oppressed by whites, we can mould them to the program of the Communist Party. We will aid the Negroes to rise in prominence in every walk of life, in the professions and in the world of sports and entertainment. With this prestige, the Negro will be able to intermarry with the whites and begin a process which will deliver America to our cause.”
Rep. Thomas Abernathy read this passage into the Congressional Record on June 7, 1957 (Vol. 103, p. 8559, top of page.) Wikipedia tells you Abernathy read the quotation in a letter to the Editor of the Washington Star, and the newspaper subsequently determined it was a hoax and apologized. “The quotation has retained some popularity among racists and anti-Semites to this day,” Wikipedia chortles.
I have subsequently added this line to the Wiki entry: “However, the author fits the description of Israel Cohen (1879-1961) a prolific Zionist author who wrote the Foreword to Israel Zangwill’s “The Schnorrers” as well as 30 other books. Like many purported “hoaxes,” the quotation does describe events as they subsequently unfolded and the operations of the US Communist Party.” This information was immediately removed by Wikipedia.
Cohen was the General Secretary of the World Zionist Organization. Clearly, Zionism and Communism are identical.
MYRON FAGAN

Like Benjamin Freedman, Myron Fagan (1887-1972) fought the bankers’ Communist agenda for the best part of his life.
Myron Fagan, a successful Broadway playwright and director, met Israel Cohen, Israel Zangwill and George Bernard Shaw at a party to celebrate the opening of Zangwill’s play The Melting Pot in 1910. He knew the three men to be founders of the Fabian Society.
Cohen told Fagan he was planning to write “A Racial Program for the 20th Century” as a “humanitarian” follow up to “The Melting Pot.” At the time, Fagan didn’t realize that the play, which described how Jews and Blacks triumph against White prejudice, was pure propaganda, part of the Communist campaign of fostering “guilt” in white Liberals described above.
It all fell into place in 1957 when Fagan read the Washington Star quotation in the context of the debate over school desegregation. In 1966, he recalled:

THE QUIET SOUL

Some of the fondest memories from my childhood are the times I spent with my grandparents. There were four children in our family and my grandmother would invite each one of us separately from time to time to spend the night and enjoy a special evening of one on one spoiling.
In the morning, we would gather together in my grandmother’s kitchen for a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice. I remember sitting at her tiny kitchen table, watching her wash up the dishes. Something about her quiet ways comforted me. She would move about the kitchen, going from task to task, never saying much. She was always whistling; no particular song, just a random kind of warbling. I could have sat there for hours enjoying her soothing presence.
When I read those verses in 1 Peter that exhort women to have a “gentle and quiet spirit,” I think about her. She seems to personify that for me. She was a believer, not one for showy, outward displays. She told me once that her favorite time to pray was when she was doing the dishes. She would look out her kitchen window to the sky and talk to the Lord about whoever was on her mind at the moment.
For many, many years, I have struggled with achieving that quiet spirit. So often, I felt like I have a hurricane going on inside of me! I have prayed quite earnestly for the Holy Spirit to cultivate that inward calm within me, and I know He hears my prayers. But still, I wrestle.
And then, one day, the Lord showed me something. As I thought about my grandmother, I realized she was not only inwardly quiet, she was outwardly quiet. I don’t remember her as a particularly chatty soul, although when she had something to say, she said it. She also did not lead a very hectic life. Most days, she could be found at home, puttering in her little garden or painting.
It occurred to me that I had been asking the Lord to give me this quiet spirit while at the same time frantically running from one activity to another or chatting on the Internet or listening to blood-pressure-raising talk radio, etc. It was like trying to give up chocolate (perish the thought) while working in a chocolate factory!
This truth is so simple: To attain that gentle and quiet spirit, we must not only seek to be transformed in our interior lives, but adjust our exterior life in such a way that we cultivate a more peaceful existence.
As women, there are a number of areas in which we can begin to make changes in order to slow down and quiet our lives.
I don’t know about you, but I am a talker. I always have something to say, be it edifying or not. As I have grown both in physical and spiritual maturity, the Holy Spirit has mellowed that inclination to open my mouth somewhat. Putting my foot in there more than once has also helped to temper my tongue!
Proverbs 10:19 says: When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.
It occurred to me that, not only did I need to be inwardly quiet; I needed to literally hold my tongue more often. I decided to have a “quiet week.” For seven days, I would try to refrain from speaking empty words; words which were not necessary, unwholesome, silly talk, or idle bander. Instead, I would endeavor to speak “such a word as is good for edification, according to the need at the moment, that it may give grace to those that hear” (Ephesians 5:29).
This was not easy. If you want to get a good grasp on how much you really open your mouth, just make a conscious effort to keep it closed.
One of the first things that happened is my husband asked me what was the matter. It was humbling for me to think he was so used to hearing me blather on all the time that when there was silence, it worried him. I tried to explain what I was doing which probably sounded kind of silly, but he was relieved that it wasn’t anything serious.
When that week was up, I had learned a very valuable lesson. The more I kept my thoughts to myself, especially the ones that would only serve to cause discord, the quieter my spirit became. Imagine that.
As time has gone by, I discovered more ways to cultivate a calmer soul.
Have quiet days, not just quiet times
Fifteen minutes in the morning is better than nothing but truly will not go far in this hectic culture. We need to set aside days on end in order to fully wind down and get ourselves into a quieter state of mind. This is especially true if you have very young children. Babies and toddlers really respond to quiet days at home. You may come to find you have much calmer, happier children if you make this a practice, not to mention a more tranquil mom!
Busy yourself with quiet work
You know, our predecessors may have been on to something when they coined the phrase, “The devil makes work for idle hands.” Though women obviously need and deserve regular times of rest, we don’t do too well when we are just sitting around. Keeping our hands busy at some craft or another is an amazing soul soother. Whether it is sewing, knitting, quilting, embroidery, crafting, painting and so one, working with our hands in some fashion tends to keep our spirits more tranquil. Not to mention the lovely end product we will have when finished.
Many of our everyday tasks have the potential to become quiet respites if we approach them that way. Hand washing a sink full of dishes, hanging a load of laundry, baking a pie, all of these activities can be done in a quiet, meditative manner that can be relaxing and soothing. These often turn into times of prayer and mediation on the Word for me.
Turn off the noise
We are fully engulfed in the electronic age. There are devices that beep, whistle, ring, and talk. I have read more than once that women are far more sensitive to noise than men; probably because we have to have those special mommy ears that can distinguish our crying child in a crowd or detect a faint cough in the middle of the night.
Whatever the reason, women tend to get more agitated when the noise level elevates. Every family is unique as far as the numbers and types of electronic noisemakers they have in their homes. Think about the devices you have that may be causing you uneasiness and try to figure out how to minimize their effect on you. Answering machines can screen phone calls. Cell phones can be set to vibrate and take messages. We can designate certain days of no TV days for the kids, and we can limit our internet time. Online conversations are still conversations and can be just as emotionally charged as verbal conversations.
Things too difficult
Psalm 131 says in part, “…nor do I involve myself in great matters or in things too difficult for me.” Have you ever found yourself involved in a situation that ended up being beyond your ability to cope with or control? It could be anything from involvement on a church committee to trying to mediate a disagreement between family and friends. Maybe you volunteered for a position, only to regret it later or found yourself in a conversation with someone that had very strong opinions about Christianity or homeschooling and the like. I’m sure many of these types of circumstances will come to your mind as you think about them. All these things cause our soul disquiet.
There are some situations that are unavoidable and for those we rely on the strength of the Lord. However, many of the distressing circumstances in which we have found ourselves in the past can be avoided in the future. Try to step back and measure each decision you make by thinking: Is is absolutely necessary that I do this? Will this take me away from my first priorities of family and home? Will this cause me stress?
Remember what Jesus told Martha – only ONE thing is truly necessary in this life. So many of the tasks laid upon women are not truly necessary, but rather a matter of what others want us to do to facilitate their plans. So often we feel we need to step in and referee certain matters, only to find ourselves in over our heads. Whatever the case may be, it takes faith to step back, stay uninvolved, and stay quiet. It’s truly amazing how things have a way of working themselves out without us saving the day!
Quietness is treasured by God. Do a search in your concordance and you will find this to be so. It does not come naturally to most of us and takes practice, but the rewards of a peaceful spirit are indescribably.

The United States will be the most popular destination and ‘In twenty years, the Hispanic and African-American populations will almost constitute a majority in the United States.’
Attali also foresaw a surveillancestate where “our iPhones send data to the NSA,” and Christianity is pitted against Islam. Clearly, Attali was no clairvoyant. He had access to the blueprint. He helped write it.

A Brief History of The Future by Jacques Attali (2006) outlines the elite’s agenda for the 21st Century.
A French Jew, (he recently told the European Jewish Congress the world’s Jewish population needs to rise to 200 million), Attali is a high-level technocrat working to fulfil the New World Order.
Jacques Attali, 79, has a varied CV. For ten years he worked as an adviser to former French President Francois Mitterrand. In 1980, he started the European program Eureka (a major European program on new technologies that invented, among other things, the MP3).
In 1991, he co-founded the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He is also at the origin of the higher education reform, known as LMD, designed to bring all European degrees into line.
He has published over 50 books, selling over 6 million copies worldwide. They include an adoring biography of banker Siegmund Warburg.
He has also written a glowing account of Karl Marx, arguing that Marx was a free-marketeer who favored capitalism as a stepping-stone to his Communist ideal and predicted globalization as we know it today (i.e. the New World Order).

IMMIGRATION
Immigration flows will expand and submerge nation-states. ‘Great Britain will become a major host country, especially for citizens of Central European countries. The latter will in their turn welcome Ukrainian workers, themselves replaced by Russians, themselves replaced by vast Chinese populations.’
Resistant countries will learn that a population inflow ‘is the condition of their survival.’ In a sinister passage, Attali speaks of third-world hordes engulfing the West.
‘Ever more numerous masses will hurl themselves at the gates of the West. They already number hundreds of thousands every month; that figure will increase to millions, then tens of millions.’
The United States will be the most popular destination and ‘In twenty years, the Hispanic and African-American populations will almost constitute a majority in the United States.’
Nomadism will also become the norm in the West, ‘as more and more people will leave one country for another: there will soon be more than ten million of them switching countries every year.
Our main incentive will be money, but many will leave because they are disgusted by their homeland.
‘They [will] no longer want to depend on a country whose tax system, legislation, and even culture they reject. And also to disappear completely, to live another life. The world will thus be increasingly filled with people who have become anonymous of their own free will; it will be like a carnival where everyone – ultimate freedom! – will have chosen a new identity for himself.’
SEXUALITY
In the future, people will no longer bond and create families. ‘The couple will no longer be the principal base for life and sexuality. [People] will prefer to choose, in full transparency, polygamous or polyandrous loves.’
The driving force of this trend is technology that frees youth from parental control. The first was the radio, which allowed the young:
‘To dance outside the ballrooms and therefore be free of parental supervision- liberating sexuality, opening them to all kinds of music, from jazz to rock, and thus announcing youth’s entry into the world of consumption, of desire, and of rebellion.’
A media-dominated culture will create an egocentric populace who ‘will be loyal only to themselves.’
With lovers failing to mate for life, ‘the world will be no more than a juxtaposition of solitudes, and love a juxtaposition of ‘masturbation.’
The elite goal is to remove love from sex so that they control reproduction. Attali writes that in the twentieth century, society ‘sought to evacuate the reproductive role of sexuality by making motherhood artificial, by using increasingly sophisticated methods- pills, premature labor, in vitro fertilization, surrogate mothers.’
In the future, society ‘will even go so far as to dissociate reproduction and sexuality. Sexuality will be the kingdom of pleasure, reproduction that of machines.’
Future generations ‘will manufacture the human being like a made-to-measure artefact, in an artificial uterus, which will allow the brain to further develop with characteristics chosen in advance. The human being will thus have become a commercial object.’
SURVEILLANCE
Attali paints a picture of a surveillance society that would make the Stasi wince.
Even our washing machines will be conspiring against us, while the ‘packaging of food products, clothing vehicles, and household goods will become “communicative.”‘
We will live with untrustworthy robots.
‘Domestic robots will become universal in daily life. They too will be constantly connected to high-output grids in nomadic ubiquity. They will function as domestic help, as aids for the handicapped or aged, as workers and as members of security forces. In particular, they will become “Watchers.”‘
All our data will be collected by public and private security firms. The main form of surveillance will be portable entertainment devices. The embryo of this today is the iPhone which sends data to the NSA.
‘The unique nomadic object will be permanently traceable. All the data it contains, including images of everyone’s daily life, will be stored and sold to specialist businesses and to public and private police.’
By 2050, these machines will have evolved into what Attali calls ‘self-surveillance machines’ that will allow everyone to monitor his own compliance with the norms.
We will monitor our consumption of water, energy, and raw materials. We will even have the ‘opportunity to measure, permanently or periodically, the parameters of [our] own body.’
‘Electronic bugs, worn subcutaneously, will ceaselessly register heartbeat, blood pressure, and cholesterol. Microprocessors connected to various organs will watch their functioning as compared to the norms.’
Living insecure and chaotic lives, we will be dependent on insurance companies for security. These companies will make sure their clients ‘conform to norms to minimize the risks … They will gradually come to dictate planetary norms (What to eat? What to know? How to drive? How to protect oneself? How to consume? How to produce?)’
These companies will be ruthless.
‘They will penalize smokers, drinkers, the obese, the unemployable, the inadequately protected, the aggressive, the careless, the clumsy, the absentminded, the spendthrift. Ignorance, exposure to risks, wasting, and vulnerability will be considered diseases.’
Prisons ‘will be gradually replaced by long-distance surveillance of a person under house arrest.’
THE FUTURE OF THE US
The dollar will remain dominant until at least 2025 when foreign backers will start abandoning it and ‘the credit pyramid, based on the value of American housing, will collapse.’
The US will then start disintegrating, with violence and chaos ensuing. Attali states, ‘It will not be tomorrow’s Africa that will one day resemble today’s West, but the whole West that could tomorrow evoke today’s Africa.’
The US will then have to redesign its government to regain control.
‘The United States could then become a Scandinavian-style social democracy or a dictatorship – and even perhaps the one after the other. It would not be the first time such a surprise occurred: the first leader to apply the principles required to emerge from the crisis of the [last depression] was Mussolini; the second was Hitler. Roosevelt only came third.’
As chaos and violence engulf the world, Christianity and Islam will strengthen. The Bible Belt region in the Southern US will mobilize and could dominate US politics.
‘The United States could then around 2040 fall prey to a theocratic temptation, explicit or implicit, in the shape of theocratic isolationism in which democracy would be no more than a shadowy presence.’
