Washington DC — (Scheerpost) — Israel was founded on lies. The lie that Palestinian land was largely unoccupied. The lie that 750,000 Palestinians fled their homes and villages duringtheir ethnic cleansing by Zionist militias in 1948 because they were told to do so by Arab leaders. The lie that it was Arab armies that started the 1948 war that saw Israel seize 78 percent of historic Palestine. The lie that Israel facedannihilation in 1967, forcing it to invade and occupy the remaining 22 percent of Palestine, as well as land belonging to Egypt and Syria.

Israel is sustained by lies. The lie that Israel wants a just and equitable peace and will support a Palestinian state. The lie that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. The lie that Israel is an “outpost of Western civilization in a sea of barbarism.” The lie that Israel respects the rule of law and human rights.

Israel’s atrocities against the Palestinians are always greeted with lies. I heard them. I recorded them. I published them in my stories for The New York Times when I was the paper’s Middle East Bureau Chief.

I covered war for two decades, including seven years in the Middle East. I learned quite a bit about the size and lethality of explosive devices. There is nothing in the arsenal of Hamas or Islamic Jihad that could have replicated the massive explosive power of the missile that killed an estimated 500 civilians in the al-Ahli Arab Christian Hospital in Gaza. Nothing. If Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) had these kinds of missiles, huge buildings in Israel would be rubble with hundreds of dead. They don’t.

The whistling sound, audible on the video moments before the explosion, appears to come from the high velocity of a missile. This sound gives it away. No Palestinian rocket makes this noise. And then there is the speed of the missile. Palestinian rockets are slow and lumbering, clearly visible as they arch in the sky and then tumble in free fall toward their targets. They do not strike with precision or travel at close to supersonic speed. They are incapable of killing hundreds of people.

The Israeli military dropped “roof knocking” rockets with no warheads on the hospital in the days leading up to the Oct. 17 strike, the familiarwarning given by Israel to evacuate buildings, according to al-Ahli hospital officials. Hospital officials also said they had received calls from Israel saying “we warned you to evacuate twice.” Israel has demanded that all hospitals in northern Gaza be evacuated.

Following the strike on the hospital, Hananya Naftali, a “digital aide” to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, posted on X, formerly Twitter: “Israeli Air Force struck a Hamas terrorist base inside a hospital in Gaza.” The post was quickly deleted.

Since the Oct. 7 incursion into Israel by Palestinian resistance fighters, which reportedly left some 1,300 Israelis dead, many of them civilians, and saw some 200 kidnapped as hostages and taken to Gaza, Israel has carried out 51 attacks on healthcare facilities in Gaza that have killed 15 healthcare workers and injured 27, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Out of 35 hospitals in Gaza, four are not functioning due to severe damage and targeting. Only eight of the 22 UNRWA primary healthcare centers are “partially functional,” the WHO says.

The brazenness of Israeli lies stunned those of us who reported from Gaza. It did not matter if we had seen the Israeli attack, including the shooting of unarmed Palestinians. It did not matter how many witnesses we interviewed. It did not matter what photographic and forensic evidence we obtained. Israel lied. Small lies. Big lies. Huge lies. These lies came reflexively and instantly from the Israeli military, Israeli politicians and Israeli media. They were amplified by Israel’s well-oiled propaganda machine and repeated with a cloying sincerity on international news outlets.

Israel engages in the kinds of jaw-dropping lies that characterize despotic regimes. It does not deform the truth, it inverts it. It paints a picture that is diametrically opposed to reality. Those of us who have covered the occupied territories have run into Israel’s Alice-in-Wonderland narratives, which we dutifully insert into our stories — required under the rules of American journalism — although we know they are untrue.

Israel has invented an Orwellian lexicon. Children killed by Israelis become children caught in crossfire. The bombing of residential districts, with dozens of dead and wounded, becomes a surgical strike on a bomb-making factory. The destruction of Palestinian homes becomes the demolition of the homes of terrorists.

The Big Lie — Große Lüge — feeds the two reactions Israel seeks to elicit — racism among its supporters and terror among its victims. The Big Lies fosters the myth of a clash of civilizations, a war between democracy, decency and honor on one side and Islamic terrorism, barbarism and medievalism on the other.

George Orwell in his novel “Nineteen Eighty-Four” called the Big Lie “doublethink”. Doublethink uses “logic against logic” and “repudiate[s] morality while laying claim to it.” The Big Lie abolishes nuances, ambiguities and contradictions that can plague conscience. It is designed to create cognitive dissonance. It permits no gray zones. The world is black and white, good and evil, righteous and unrighteous. The Big Lie allows believers to take comfort — a comfort they are desperately seeking — in their own moral superiority even as they abrogate all morality. It feeds, what Edward Bernays called, the “logic-proof compartment of dogmatic adherence.” All effective propaganda, Bernays writes, targets and builds upon these irrational “psychological habits.”

Israeli supporters thirst for these lies. They do not want to know the truth. The truth would force them to examine their racism, self-delusion and complicity in oppression, murder and genocide.

Most importantly, the Big Lie sends an ominous message to the Palestinians. The Big Lie states that Israel will wage a campaign of mass terror and genocide and never take responsibility for its crimes. The Big Lie obliterates the truth. It obliterates the dignity of human thought and human action. It obliterates facts. It obliterates history. It obliterates comprehension. It obliterates hope. It reduces all communication to the language of violence. When oppressors speak to the oppressed exclusively through indiscriminate violence, the oppressed answer through indiscriminate violence.

The cartoonist Joe Sacco and I watched Israeli soldiers taunt and shoot small boys in the Khan Younis refugee camp in Gaza. We interviewed the boys and their parents afterwards in the hospital. In a few cases we attended their funerals. We had their names. We had the dates and locations of the shootings.

Israel’s response was to say that we were not in Gaza. We had made it up.

The Israeli Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, Defense Minister and Israeli Defense Force (IDF) spokesperson immediately blamed the killing of the Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh in 2022, on Palestinian gunmen. Israel disseminated footage of a Palestinian fighter they said shot and killed the journalist, who was wearing a flak jacket and helmet marked “PRESS.”

Benny Gantz, who was at the time Defense Minister, stated that “no [Israeli] gunfire was directed at the journalist,” and that the Israeli army had “seen footage of indiscriminate shooting by Palestinian terrorists”.

This lie was peddled until video footage examined by B’Tselem, The Israeli Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, identified the location of the Palestinian gunman depicted in the video. The video, the human rights organization found, was taken in a different location from where Shireen was killed.

When Israel is caught lying, as it was with the murder of Shireen, it promises an investigation. But these investigations are a sham. Impartial investigations into the hundreds of killings by soldiers and Jewish settlers of Palestinians are rarely carried out. Perpetrators are almost never brought to trial or held accountable. The pattern of Israeli obfuscation is predictable. So is the collusion of nearly all of the corporate media along with Republican and Democratic politicians. U.S. politicians decried the murder of Shireen and dutifully repeated the old mantra, calling for a “thorough investigation” by the army that carried out the crime.

A few months later, Israel admitted that there was a “high possibility” that an Israeli soldier killed the journalist by accident, but by then the eruption of street protests and rage over the killing of the journalist was over and her murder largely forgotten.

By the time the conclusive proof comes out about the bombing of the hospital, it too will be a distant memory.

There is dramatic footage captured in September 2000 at the Netzarim junction in the Gaza Strip — where I saw a nineteen-year-old boy shot and killed by an Israeli sniper — by France 2 TV, of a father trying to shield his traumatized 12-year-old son, Muhammad al-Durrah, from Israeli gunfire that ultimately killed him.

The killing of the boy resulted in the typical propaganda campaign by Israel. Israeli officials spent years lying about the killing, first blamingthe Palestinians for the shooting, later suggesting that the scene was faked, and finally insisting the boy was still alive.

When an Israeli soldier, in 2003, murdered the 23-year-old student and American activist Rachel Corrie, by crushing her to death with a bulldozer as she tried to prevent the illegal demolition of a Palestinian doctor’s home, the Israeli army said it was an accident for which Corrie was responsible.

The Israeli military has killed “at least” 20 journalists since 2001, with no accountability, according to a 2023 report by the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists. “Immediately after a journalist is killed by security forces, Israeli officials often push out a counter narrative to media reporting,” the CPJ concluded. This includes blaming the deaths on “indiscriminate fire” by Palestinians or attempts to discredit those killed as “terrorists.”

Israel blocks the work of independent human rights organizations into atrocities and war crimes it commits in Gaza and the West Bank. It refuses to cooperate with the International Criminal Court into possible war crimes in the Occupied Territories. It does not cooperate with the U.N. Human Rights Council and prohibitsthe U.N. Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, from entering the country. Israel revoked the work permit for Omar Shakir, the Director of Human Rights Watch (Israel and Palestine), in 2018 and expelled him. In May 2018, Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs and Public Diplomacy published a report calling on the European Union and European states to halt their direct and indirect financial support and funding to Palestinian and international human rights organizations that “have ties to terror and promote boycotts against Israel.”

After the bombing of the hospital, Israel first released a video that purported to show Palestinian Islamic Jihad rockets which struck the hospital. The Israelis hastily removed the video when journalists noticed that time stamps showed the images were taken 40 minutes after the strike on the hospital.

Israeli propagandists — aware that Palestinian rockets have little explosive power — then claimed that Hamas stored munitions under the hospital. This caused the massive explosion, they said. But if this was true, it would mean there would be a secondary explosion. There was none. And now Israel has released what they say is a recording of two Hamas militants discussing the missile strike on the hospital. The militants ask each other, in a self-incriminating conversation that is too ridiculous to believe, if Hamas or PIJ carried out the strike. Please. How was Israel completely in the dark about an incursion by thousands of armed Palestinian militants from Gaza into Israel on Oct. 7 and able to capture this incriminating conversation by two supposed militants?

“Israel has a whole unit of ‘mistaravim’, Israeli Jewish undercover agents trained to pose as Palestinians and secretly operate among Palestinians,” the reporter Jonathan Cook writes. “Israel produced a highly popular TV series about such people in Gaza called Fauda. You have to be beyond credulous to think that Israel couldn’t, and wouldn’t, rig up a call like this to fool us, just as it regularly fools Palestinians in Gaza.”

Israel has also long targeted medical facilities, ambulances and medics, as Middle East scholar Norman Finkelstein points out. It bombed a Palestinian children’s hospital during the 1982 war in Lebanon, killing 60 people. It also carried out missile strikes on clearly marked Lebanese ambulances during the 2006 war between Israel and Lebanon. It damaged or destroyed 29 ambulances and almost half of Gaza’s health facilities, including 15 hospitals, during the 2008-2009 assault on Gaza known as Operation Cast Lead. It routinely prohibited wounded Palestinians from being picked up by ambulances during this operation, often leaving them to die. During Operation Protective Edge, the 51-day assault on Gaza in 2014, Israel destroyed or damaged 17 hospitals and 56 primary healthcare centers and damaged or destroyed 45 ambulances.

Amnesty International, which investigated the Israeli attacks on three of these hospitals in 2014, dismissed the “evidence” for the attacks offered by Israel as false. “The image tweeted by the Israeli military does not match satellite images of the al-Wafa hospital and appears to depict a different location,” the report read.

Expose Israeli lies and you are attacked by Israel and its supporters as an anti-Semite and apologist for terrorists. You are banished from mainstream media. You are denied forums to speak about the issue and, as has happened to me, disinvited from university events.

It is an old game, one I have played as a reporter many, many times. I bear the scars of the lies spewed out by Israel and its lobby. Meanwhile, Israel continues its butchery, endorsed and even lauded by Western political leaders, including Joe Biden, who accompany the torrent of lies from Israel like a Wagnerian chorus.

In 1940 the Haganah bombed the Patria, a ship carrying Jewish refugees from Romania to Palestine. About 250 of them plus some British servicemen who had boarded the ship in Haifa port were killed. [The British were going to send the Jews to Mauritius. This was intended to look like the Jews blew themselves up rather than be deported.]
Asked his opinion, Ben-Gurion approved of the bombing as a ‘Zionist action’ although ‘no one expected so many victims’. 

Deluding himself again, he said it was an ‘act of God’, not of the Haganah. In 1948, another ship, the Altalena — Jabotinsky’s pen name — arrived with a cargo of refugees, arms, and ammunition. Menahim Begin and Ben-Gurion could not agree on how the arms should be shared. Ben-Gurion was prepared to shoot it out and did: the ship was raked with gunfire, ‘Jews shooting Jews’ as Yitzhak Rabin remarked, and eventually set it on fire. The next morning Ben-Gurion responded with this comment: ‘Blessed is the cannon that bombed the ship. The cannon is worthy of standing in the Temple, if it gets built’ (435)…

He fought with Zionist allies and enemies alike. His hatred of his own Jewish stock could be even greater than his contempt for the ‘Arabs’. Weizmann was turned into a ‘loathsome carrion, like a trampled corpse’ (351), Jabotinsky was ‘Vladimir Hitler’, and the Revisionists a ‘Jewish Nazi Party’. (252). The insults were returned in full measure.

‘At any cost’ meant lying and dissembling endlessly: whatever Ben-Gurion said for propaganda purposes, he always knew what he wanted, which was the removal of the Palestinians from the land that belonged to them, according to all logical legal, historical, and moral criteria but to which Ben-Gurion believed only Jews had a moral and historic right. 

On this basis he set the Zionist state on the course it has followed to the present day, with the devastating consequences it has had for the Palestinians, the surrounding Arab world and the Jewish communities who lived in that world for thousands of years until deliberately uprooted by Zionism’s ‘ingathering of the exiles’.

For Ben-Gurion, the ‘Arabs’ were no more than one-dimensional objects on the landscape that had to be removed. They had no right to be in Palestine let alone the right to stay there. Had he seen them as equal human beings he could not have been a Zionist. 

Indeed, he hardly saw them as human beings at all. They were lesser beings, to be disposed of when the time came. The old, the young, women, children, babes in arms, they all had to go, as they did in 1948. 

Driven out on the orders of this man or what was tacitly understood of what he wanted and moving further away with each step from the massacres that had been the fate of many others, they streamed in long columns toward Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. Many died on the road even as the homes they had been forced to abandon were being plundered and destroyed.

Ben-Gurion did not establish ‘the only democracy in the Middle East’ because it was only a democracy for Jews and therefore — like his socialism — not a democracy at all. What he sowed were the seeds of what has gradually taken shape since 1948, a Jewish supremacist state from which the ‘Arabs’ must be purged or reduced to ethnic remnants waiting for the next busload of American or Japanese tourists.

Even in the twentieth century, the politician as an unindicted war criminal is a familiar figure in history. Ben-Gurion’s ethnic cleansing of Palestine earns him his place in this pantheon of the wicked. His crimes were not as great as some but greater than many. In Zionist history he is a heroic figure: across the long span of Jewish history, his place is less certain. Herzl, Weizmann, and then Ben-Gurion pitched Jewish life out of the sanctity of the metaphysical into the physical, quickly showing that, when given a state, Jews could behave as badly as anyone if not worse than many. Ben-Gurion took the lead in driving them further in this direction.

From the beginning there were Jews, not only but notably Neturei Karta, who regarded Zionism as apostasy and a stain on the Jewish faith. For the Palestinians and other Arab victims of Zionism, the Star of David, embossed on the wings of warplanes and the sides of tanks pulverizing Lebanon or Gaza or scribbled on the walls of Palestinian homes on the West Bank are the symbols of a savage, remorseless enemy, just as the Zionists wanted Israel to be seen. The gross historical irony, needless to say, is that the sight of the swastika had the same effect on its victims.

Notoriously humorless, veering in his youth between suicidal thoughts and grandiose ideas, searching for meaning, Ben-Gurion found it in Zionism. It took him out of a small Polish town and eventually projected him onto the world stage, as it had done to Herzl, a dreamer and minor literary figure, and Weizmann, the practical chemist. Ben-Gurion claimed to be a socialist but socialism only for the Jews and not the ‘Arabs’ was not socialism to anyone but a doctrinaire Zionist.

Zionism promised redemption, but at the cost of the blood of other people, there can be no redemption, only a struggle between occupier and occupied which after more than seven decades shows no sign of ending.

My sister texted me some letters I had written to my mom in January of my senior year at Westmont College in 1980. She kept all of our letters! Yes, there was only snail mail back then. There were no computers, Internet, or iPhones. I will put some updated thoughts in parenthesis in this letter, but it’s funny to look back and see what my young self was feeling at this stage in life. I met my husband the next month after writing this letter. God heard the desires of my heart.

Dear Mom,

I needed to write to someone or talk to someone who I know would listen and be concerned, and I knew you were the perfect one to write to. I could feel it coming on the past few days. I’m totally bummed out today. I know exactly why I am too. I feel like I’m going to be single the rest of my life, and I don’t want to be at all. I feel frustrated at this point. It’s not because Steve (a guy I liked at the time) hasn’t made any effort to see me all week, but I don’t feel like he’s right for me any ways. God didn’t let me have him for a reason and at this point, I can see many of them. I have never felt totally at ease with him. But I guess him not pursuing me made me feel that no one ever will.

I’m 21 and don’t even see any prospects in view. I know I’m not supposed to doubt God in that area, but it looks so bleak and discouraging to me right now. It seems I’m the only girl around, of all my friends, without a boyfriend. So many times, I don’t get to be with my girlfriends because they’re going somewhere with their boyfriend. It seems there’s no chance of meeting someone at Westmont. I’ve been here almost four years, and haven’t had one guy even want to get close to me! (That isn’t really true! The guys I liked didn’t seem to like me and the guys who liked me, I didn’t like. In looking back, I see it as God’s protection over me.) I know God has His reasons, but this doesn’t make me feel any better. Lisa (my sister) has been bummed lately too. It seems only normal for us to want someone. Sometimes I feel like I could do without one but lately, I really want one. I don’t want guys to get the feeling that I’m desperate though. That turns them off. I’m not looking forward to this weekend at all. Two nights to spend not on a date. I’ve been wondering what God has in mind for me if it’s not marriage.

Lisa, Sandy (my best friend), and I are going to Good Earth tonight (our favorite health food restaurant). I’m not looking forward to it though. Later on, Sandy and I are going to a Santa Barbara high school football game. We’re supposed to try to meet kids there. That doesn’t seem to be too appealing to me, but I’m sure I will feel better if I go out and do something besides sitting around mopping, especially giving myself to others’ interests besides my own always helped. (We were involved in Young Life through college.)

I’m not especially stoked about Urbana. Maybe it’s my overall attitude about life at this point, but God seems to have opened some doors for me so I want to take the opportunity. I’m sure He’ll teach me a lot through it. I’m really praying about my attitude, and that I’ll gain some insight about future plans for me. Maybe He wants me to be a teacher in some far off land. My classes aren’t that good. They’re too late in the day to keep my interests alive. They are also very unchallenging but at least I don’t feel the pressure I’ve always felt in past semesters. I start being a student aide in an elementary school next week. Well, my math class is going to start real soon so I better close.

***UPDATE: Yes, I met my husband the next month. We hit it off immediately. I felt completely at ease with him. There were no games. I always knew where I stood with him. He liked me! It was great! We laughed all the time. He wrote me the funniest love letters and would slip them under the door at night. After graduation, I went to Florida with him to meet his family. Before I left, he asked me to marry him. We were married on December 27, 1980. It will be 43 years this December! I am so thankful that God had marriage and children in my life. We’re expecting our 17 grandchild soon. My cup is overflowing!

Israel’s Descent Into a Moral Abyss

Mightier than the nuclear bomb, the lie is Satan’s most powerful weapon. The bomb merely devastates. The lie steals souls. It enlists millions of naive people to Satan’s cause.
“God’s chosen people” have been Satan’s favorite targets. Zionists took control of them using lies about the Jewish holocaust and the 1948 “War of Independence.”

 1)  Jews did not need a “national homeland” because of the Holocaust. Instead, Jews were sacrificed in the holocaust so they would build Israel. The Illuminati want it as the capital of their New World Order. The blatant Masonic symbolism in the Rothschild-built  Israeli Supreme Court is a tip-off. Also, Israel is the fortress for their invasion of the Islamic world.

2) In the “1948 War of Independence”, Israelis did  NOT face a second Holocaust from blood-thirsty Arab armies, as Jews are taught. The war was in fact a brutal ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by Zionists, the “Nakba” (“Cataclysm”), reminiscent of what Nazis did to Jews. 

Without the holocaust there would have been no Nakba which has grown into a monster stalking the whole human race: the  9-11 hoax, and the War Against Islam and Freedom.

I’ll deal with the second lie first. 

THE “PHONY WAR” 

According to Israeli historian Ilan Pappe, 1948 was a pretext and cover for the preplanned expulsion of a million mostly defenseless Palestinians from their ancestral homes, orchards, fields, and businesses. (“The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine,” 2006) 

The Zionist leadership knew the neighboring Arab states did not constitute a threat. The Palestinians did not flee willingly as Jews are taught, but were driven out. 

The British and UN were accomplices. With 75,000 soldiers present, the British permitted the massacres and pillage in spite of their promise in the Balfour Declaration to uphold Palestinian rights. 

The UN ceded to 600,000 Jews a territory containing one million Palestinians, leaving them at the mercy of David Ben Gurion who said, “Only a state with at least 80% Jews is a viable and stable state.” (Pappe, p.48) 

Eighty-nine percent of the cultivated land in the UN-designated Jewish state belonged to Palestinians. (30) 

General Sir John Bagot Glubb, the British chief of the (Jordanian) Arab Legion called 1948 “a phoney war.” Like most wars the outcome was determined in advance. The leader of Arab forces, King Abdullah of Jordan, had a secret deal with the Zionists to offer only token resistance in return for the West Bank and East Jerusalem. In addition, the English controlled the Arab armies and curtailed supplies. 

Far from being “a rag-tag group of defenders”, Israel had 50,000 soldiers, half of whom had served in the British army. It had a small air force, navy, tanks, armored cars and heavy artillery. Facing them were the real “rag-tag defenders,” perhaps 10,000 poorly trained and equipped Palestinian paramilitary outfits and volunteers from the Arab world. (44) 

Despite rhetoric from Arab capitals, there was never any chance of driving the Jews into the sea. The Palestinians were passive and underestimated their danger. They had lived under Ottoman and British rule and somehow would manage under the Jewish regime. Many villages made “non-aggression pacts” with the Jews. 

In March 1948 Ben Gurion told the Jewish Agency Executive: “I believe the majority of the Palestinian masses accept the partition as a fait accompli…[they] do not want to fight us.” (61) 

The (British-controlled) Arab Legion was the only potential real opposition. It was used to repulse the Zionists when they reneged on their bargain and attacked the Old City of Jerusalem. 

The other Arab nations were so feeble that the Zionists occupied Southern Lebanon and expelled Arabs from there. On May 24, 1948, David Ben Gurion did not sound like the leader of a beleaguered people when he confided in his diary: “We will establish a Christian state in Lebanon, the southern border of which will be the Litani river. We will break Transjordan, bomb Amman and destroy its army, and then Syria falls, and if Egypt will still continue to fight, we will bombard Port Said, Alexandria, and Cairo.” (144) 

Yes, the Palestinians did attack some convoys and isolated Jewish settlements at considerable loss of Jewish life. These attacks played into the hands of the Zionists who always portray acts of resistance as aggression and anti-Semitism. 


ZIONIST ATROCITIES 

Arabic-speaking, Ilan Pappe interviewed survivors in Palestinian refugee camps. He compared their accounts to those in the IDF Archives. 

Over 200 Arab villages were destroyed before a regular Arab soldier set foot in Palestine. Their ethnic cleansing program was called “Plan D”. (82) A detailed inventory of all Palestinian settlements and property had been made for it. (Often the unwary Palestinians extended hospitality to the takers of this macabre “census.”) 

The Zionists attacked Palestinian villages at night and dynamited houses while residents slept inside. Then they rounded up males between age 10 and 50 and shot them or sent them to prison camps. The women, children and elders were made to leave. Eventually about 750,000 ended up in refugee camps in Gaza, the West Bank or neighboring countries. There were many instances of rape and plunder. 

In the big cities like Jerusalem, Jaffa, and Haifa, the Palestinian districts were shelled and people terrorized and killed. Altogether, 530 of about 1000 Palestinian villages were physically demolished. About a dozen cities and towns were also emptied. Some villages had forged economic or personal ties with the Jews and escaped this fate. Many of these “deals” were not honored by the Zionists.

Deir Yassin was bad but the events that unfolded October 28 1948 in the village of Dawaymeh between Beersheba and Hebron were even worse. I cite Pappe:

 “Venturing into the village the next day the Muktar (Hassan Mahmoud Ihdeib) beheld with horror the piles of dead bodies in the mosque–with many more strewn about in the street–men, women and children, among them his own father….455 people were missing among them around 170 children and women. The Jewish soldiers who took part also reported horrific scenes, babies whose skulls were cracked open, women raped or burned alive in houses, and men stabbed to death. These were…eye-witness accounts sent to [Israeli] High Command within a few days of the event.” (197) 


THE HOLOCAUST 

The day before a Palestinian village was attacked, Israeli political officers (like Soviet commissars) would incite the troops with a talk about the holocaust. The Zionists also used it to give themselves moral impunity. The whole world watched and said nothing. 

But were Zionists themselves partly responsible for the Holocaust? Did Zionists first do to Jews what they later did to Palestinians? 

In 1943 Rabbi Dov Weissmandl of the Jewish Rescue Committee in Slovakia arranged for Nazi officials to stop transports to concentration camps in exchange for $50,000. They in fact stopped them while waiting for the money which had to come from abroad.

Weissmandl appealed to the Zionist Jewish Agency HQ in Switzerland. He was told that Zionists “must turn a deaf ear to the pleas and cries emanating from Eastern Europe” in order to establish the state of Israel. 

” Remember this: all the allies have suffered many losses, and if we also do not offer human sacrifices, how can we gain the right to sit at the conference table when the territorial boundaries are reshaped? [Israel] Eretz Yisroel will be ours only by paying with blood, but as far as our immediate circle is concerned, ATEM TAJLU. The messenger bearing this letter will supply you with funds for this purpose”. 

Weismandl interpreted the letter as follows: “The price of Eretz Yisroel is the blood of the men and women, hoary sages, and babes in arms – but not YOUR [Zionist] blood! Let us not spoil this plan by giving the Axis [i.e. Nazis] powers to save Jewish lives. But for you, [Zionist] comrades, I have enclosed carfare for your escape. What a nightmare! The Zionist agent “diplomat” comes to Czechoslovakia and says “Shed your blood cheerfully, for your blood is cheap. But for your blood, the Land (of Israel) will be ours! (MIN HAMETZAR (p. 92) by Rabbi Michael Dov Weissmandl ZT”L Dean of Nitra Yeshiva )

If you don’t think this philosophy actuated the rise of Nazism, anti-Semitism and the Holocaust, you are kidding yourself. Nazism was a fraud on the German people, just as Zionism is a fraud on Jews. Both turned good people into cold blooded killers, pawns of the “Prince of Lies.”. 

CONCLUSION 

Today the Nakba continues in Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and along the partition wall.  New settlements are being built to strengthen Israeli claims, as “fait accompli.” 

The majority of Israelis and their supporters are faced with a moral “fait accompli.” Having been deceived about the holocaust and “War of Independence”, they have been tainted by a moral abomination. Many have built their lives accordingly. What can they do now? This is the Masonic way. Compromise people morally.

When you have traveled down the wrong road, there is no use pretending it is the right one. You have to make a U-turn and retrace your steps, the sooner the better. 

I believe Zionists should acknowledge the truth and pursue a two-state solution providing apologies and generous restitution to the Palestinians. There should be a limited right of return. 

Ilan Pappe says Palestinians would accept this. Pappe is a rare historian: honest, courageous, and moral in the true Jewish spirit. He says his research “fully vindicates” the Palestinian version of events denied for so many years. (Yet “Nakba denial” is not a crime anywhere.)  

Israelis need to make a 180-degree turn before they burn in hell and take the rest of us along. The Illuminati controls Israel through Israeli leaders who are Masons. It has already betrayed the Jewish people more than once.

Pappe is not optimistic. The premeditated attack on Lebanon in 2006 was the last straw. A professor at Haifa University, he watched his dovish colleagues accept the government’s rationale. They are prisoners of a satanic “fait accompli.” If anything Israelis now are more fanatical. Pappe is leaving Israel to become Chair of History at Exeter University in England. 

There is only one way the human race will flourish in peace: by acknowledging the truth no matter how incriminating or painful it is.

The Israelis created Hamas.  But before we explore why, let’s be clear that Israel does not want peace.  They want all of Palestine, and their belligerent settlement practices confirm that.

But the Israelis are posturing as being willing to talk “peace”, only to actually stall that peace process, so as to advance the further colonization of Palestine.

So anything that can be offered as an excuse, will be.  The most convenient ploy, presented with the sycophantic assistance of the media, is that of “terrorism”.

The masses are naive and fail to suspect the Machiavellian extremes that certain leaders will resort to.  This includes creating a false enemy, in this case, Hamas, whereby the right-wing leadership of the Israelis can point the finger at some “enemy” to blame for supposedly stalling the process.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

The West’s sponsorship of Islamic terrorism is nothing new.  After the collapse of the Ottoman Empire in 1924, the British and Americans filled the vacuum by providing their own versions of “Islamic” leaders.  This started with the creation of the Muslim Brotherhood through a grant from the British.  

Under British sponsorship, the Brotherhood today represents a powerful force in the Islamic world and is behind almost every act of terror in the name of Islam.  

More correctly, the Brotherhood has been a tool shared by numerous Western intelligence agencies, starting with the Nazis, followed by the CIA, but also the Russians, French, Germans and Israelis.

Since the Truman and Eisenhower administrations, the Muslim Brotherhood has been used to rally naive Muslims under the banner of Islam.  In the post-war era, the Americans and others have been able to manage the Brotherhood like a rabid dog on a leash to keep the “atheist Communist threat”  at bay.

With the collapse of the Cold War, however, the Brotherhood has been used as the bogey man that the Americans can chase into the Middle East and Central Asia, starting with Iraq and Afghanistan.
ISRAEL AND HAMAS
Israel’s long-standing relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood was instrumental in the founding of an offshoot organization, Hamas.

According to Robert Dreyfuss, author of “Devil’s Game: How the United States Helped Unleash Fundamentalist Islam”:

“And beginning in 1967 through the late 1980s, Israel helped the Muslim Brotherhood establish itself in the occupied territories.  It assisted Ahmed Yassin, the leader of the Brotherhood, in creating Hamas, betting that its Islamist character would weaken the PLO.”

According to Charles Freeman, former US ambassador to Saudi Arabia, “Israel started Hamas. It was a project of Shin Bet [Isreali domestic intelligence agency], which had a feeling that they could use it to hem in the PLO.”

One aspect of that strategy was the creation of the Village Leagues, over which Yassin and the Brotherhood exercised much influence.  Israel trained about 200 members of the Leagues and recruited many paid informers.

New York Times Reporter David Shipler cites the Israeli military governor of Gaza as boasting that Israel expressly financed the fundamentalists against the PLO:

“Politically speaking, Islamic fundamentalists were sometimes regarded as useful to Israel, because they had conflicts with the secular supporters of the PLO.  Violence between the two groups erupted occasionally on West Bank university campuses. Israeli military governor of the Gaza Strip, Brigadier General Yitzhak Segev, once told me how he had financed the Islamic movement as a counterweight to the PLO and the Communists.  ‘The Israeli Government gave me a budget and the military government gives to the mosques,’ he said.”

As Dreyfuss notes, “during the 1980s, the Muslim Brotherhood in Gaza and the West Bank did not support resistance to the Israeli occupation.  Most of its energy went to fighting the PLO, especially its more left-wing factions, on university campuses.”

After the Palestinian uprising of 1987, the PLO accused Hamas and Yassin of acting “with the direct support of reactionary Arab regimes… in collusion with the Israeli occupation.”  

Yasser Arafat complained to an Italian newspaper: “Hamas is a creation of Israel, which at the time of Prime Minister Shamir, gave them money and more than 700 institutions, among them schools, universities and mosques.”  

Arafat also maintained that Israeli Prime Minister Rabin admitted to him in the presence of Hosni Mubarak that Israel had supported Hamas.

Essentially, as analyst Ray Hannania pointed out, in “Sharon’s Terror Child”, published in Counterpunch, “undermining the peace process has always been the real target of Hamas and has played into the political ambitions of Likud.  Every time Israeli and Palestinian negotiators appeared ready to take a major step forward achieving peace, an act of Hamas terrorism has scuttled the peace process and pushed the two sides apart.”

In “Hamas and the Transformation of Political Islam in Palestine”, for Current History, Sara Roy wrote:

“Some analysts maintain that while Hamas leaders are being targeted, Israel is simultaneously pursuing its old strategy of promoting Hamas over the secular nationalist factions as a way of ensuring the ultimate demise of the [Palestinian Authority], and as an effort to extinguish Palestinian nationalism once and for all.”

CONCLUSION 

The Muslim Brotherhood, and its many manifestations like Hamas, Al Qaeda and bin Laden, serve as an ever-present and manufactured “terrorist” threat, used constantly as a pretext to justify repressive measures at home and expanded imperialistic objectives abroad.

Because, despite all the rhetoric about the threat of “political Islam”, unbeknownst to the general public, the manipulation of the Muslim Brotherhood throughout the world is still a mainstay of American foreign policy.
