DON’T GAIN WEIGHT BECAUSE YOU’RE GETTING OLDER

One man wrote this on Twitter: “Don’t let your body fat percent increase just because you get older. Charts like this often show healthy range increases with age. In reality, there seems to be no reason for the increase, other than that it’s common.” Our culture has accepted as fact that people get fat as they age. Why? Because most do, but they shouldn’t.

I shared long ago on my Instagram an excerpt from “The Secrets of Fascinating Womanhood” these hints for staying attractive to your husband. Here they are:

Exercise at least one-half hour a day, six days a week.

Eat a light dinner and no eating before bed.

Eat food the way God made it.

Weigh yourself every day.

Go to be early and wake up early.

Get plenty of fresh air. Leave your windows open as much as possible.

Don’t get angry or worry. Live one day at a time.

Smile and choose to be joyful.

We do need to eat less as we age. We don’t need as much food. Our metabolism and thyroid slow down. We’re usually not as active. We still need to do what we can to stay attractive to our husbands, however, plus all of these things make for good health!

I needed to lose a few pounds a few months ago. I wrote a post about it. I later told a friend about it. A week or so later, she asked if she could text me her weight every morning so I could hold her accountable. I have been doing this for her about three weeks now. Her weight will go up if she cheats. She has a goal before going to Europe soon. I told her no more cheating, so she doesn’t. She’s close to her goal. Accountability is a good thing!

I do all of those things and have for a long time. I just learned that I can’t eat desserts, sweets, and too much bread. Everyone is different. Some can eat more of those things and not gain weight. This is not about being skinny. It’s about being the weight that you feel most comfortable. The Apostle Paul told us that he disciplined his body and kept it under control so that he wouldn’t be disqualified. He also tells us that we should be known for our temperance (moderation) in everything.

Some have asked me about the book “Fascinating Womanhood.” I don’t recommend it. It was written by a Mormon and has some strange stuff in it. Yes, most of it is good but there are plenty of great books on biblical womanhood written by godly woman who don’t have strange doctrines. Stick to those books! On my Instagram in my saved stories, I have one on my “Favorite Books.” Look there for good books!

In closing, it’s good to be disciplined and self-controlled. Everyone knows this, but for some, it’s incredibly difficult. What are they to do? Have some type of plan and accountability. Make short goals and keep them. Get rid of all of the junk in your home. Begin making everything from scratch. Eat out rarely. Research sites and learn about health. The Weston A Price Foundation is a good place to start. Remind yourself that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, and that a fruit of the Spirit is self-control. You can do this!

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Jews behind 1965 Open immigration law.

THE JEWS BEHIND THE 1965 OPEN IMMIGRATION LAW

While serving Jewish interests, the Open Immigration Law Of 1965 was the beginning of America’s death as a unified nation. Jews were behind the law, promoting, lobbying, and “bribing” the law into existence.

The Names Of The Jews Behind The Open Immigraton Law of 1965:

  1. Senator Jacob Javits (NY)
  2. Congressman Emanuel Celler (NY)
  3. Leo Pfeffer (Former President of
    American Jewish Congress (AJC)
  4. Norman Podhoretz (Writer and Member of The Council of Foreign Relations)
  • Senator Jacob Javits played a prominent role in the Senate hearings on the 1965 bill. Javits authored an article entitled ‘Let’s open the gates’ that proposed immigration levels of 500,000 per year for 20 years with no restrictions on national origin.
  • Congressman Emanuel Celler, who fought for unrestricted immigration for over 40 years in the House of Representatives, introduced similar legislation resulting in the “Cellar-Hart Immigration Bill,” the precursor to the fatal bill of 1965.
  • Leo Pfeffer, a so-called, “Jewish Intellect,” (translate, “Christ-Hater”), wrote many treatises and books that propagandized for open immigration.
  • Norman Podhoretz, a former leftist, now a Jewish “neo-con,” (he’s still a leftist), also wrote many articles promoting open immigration.
  • Jewish organizations such as the American Jewish Congress, The Jewish Federation, the ACLU, and the B’nai B’rith, (there is no end to their organizations), filed briefs in support of open immigration before the Senate Subcommittee in the early sixties leading up to the passing of the 1965 law.
