The Dickinson Press has been distorting the news to further the agenda of their mysterious owners, who haven’t lived in Dickinson for decades at least. Here is their latest distortion of truth, written by editor James Miller. Miller has a background in the U.S. Military, and when I approached him a few months ago to query him on his knowledge of the Talmud, he said he wasn’t interested in “hearing any of your s**t.” Also, when I tried to arrange a meeting with Dickinson Press reporter Evan Butow to review the many errors in his article a few months back (https://messanonews.com/2025/01/letter-from-james-miller-editor-of-the-dickinson-press-and-response/), he said he didn’t want young Evan meeting with me out of “safety concerns” a preposterous statement, as I never threatened anyone. This is commonly used by deceitful media types today. They lie from the shadows and have no accountability before the citizens they lie about.
Here is James Miller’s latest article on the April 1st, 2025, Commission meeting, followed by a critique of the flawed article as usual. Note that to avoid the paywall, it’s advisable to download the Dickinson Press App from the App Store; you can then read articles for free.

”Police remove speaker from commission meeting after ‘threat,’ disruption
A man was escorted out of City Hall after defying time limits and prompting safety concerns during a heated exchange with city officials.”
Tensions flared at Tuesday night’s Dickinson City Commission meeting when a familiar out-of-town speaker refused to yield the podium, prompting Mayor Scott Decker to declare him out of order. After continued defiance and repeated warnings, Dickinson Police officers escorted Ryan Messano from City Hall — an action that drew applause from a visibly relieved audience.
Tuesday’s meeting drew a large audience of residents, with some attending to raise concerns with city property tax assessments and others to witness the commission’s vote on a new public comment policy.
Messano, during the public comments, took to the podium to continue his weeks-long pattern of targeting women, whom he has described as emotional and illogical.
In a tense exchange, preceeding Mayor Decker calling for a recess, Messano invoked the Second Amendment while railing against what he described as threats to free speech.
“The First Amendment was followed by what amendment, Mayor? The Second Amendment, that’s how serious it was. When you start messing…” Messano said, before Decker interrupted.
“Is that a threat?” Decker asked.
Messano responded, “What was it followed by the Second Amendment for?”
Again, Decker asked, “Is that a threat?”
Messano pressed on: “Why? Because they understood that if you and other tyrants like these petty functionary bureaucrats — if they interfere with someone’s First Amendment right…”
At that point, Decker cut him off again. Members of the audience began speaking out, and the meeting quickly devolved into disorder. Decker then called for a temporary recess.
When the meeting resumed, Decker addressed Messano directly:
“Mr. Messano, I would ask you to finish your comments within one minute. Your comments this evening have been disruptive and you have not allowed us to conduct the business that this city needs to conduct. And, you have threatened us. I will give you one minute and then I will ask you to yield and leave the chamber.”
Messano refused to end an extended set of remarks that included sexist and inflammatory rhetoric, defying the mayor’s instruction to conclude within one minute. When asked repeatedly to step away from the podium, Messano insisted on continuing with his pre-planned 15-minute speech.
After Messano’s final refusal to comply with the directive, Decker declared him out of order and requested his removal. When he would not leave voluntarily, three Dickinson Police Officers approached and physically escorted him from the chamber — drawing raucous applause from the audience.
Outside City Hall, Messano is alleged to have become verbally combative with officers, according to witness accounts provided to The Dickinson Press.
At the end of the session, Mayor Decker addressed the incident visibly upset, offering an apology to attendees and stating that Dickinson is better than what occurred.
Messano, a California-based figure of limited notoriety, is known locally for his inflammatory remarks at public meetings in Dickinson, as well as at other meetings across the country. His remarks Tuesday came in response to recent public appeals from female Dickinson residents urging the commission to take action against what many said they viewed as the exploitation of public forums to promote hate speech — including antisemitic, sexist and racist tropes.
Messano, who does not reside in Dickinson, has become a source of growing frustration for many in the community who continue to voice concern over his repeated appearances and the offensive nature of his remarks. Many question why a non-local resident is being permitted to dominate public discourse in the city.
Records indicate that Messano’s behavior is not unique to Dickinson.
In 2024, Messano was arrested twice in Sacramento, California — once for violating a restraining order and again for refusing to leave the podium after being asked. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has documented Messano’s pattern of appearing at public meetings across the country to spread what it describes as hate-driven ideologies under the guise of civic engagement, identifying him as an affiliate of an antisemitic hate group.
“This kind of disruption is not isolated — it’s part of a disturbing national trend,” an ADL spokesperson said in a January 2025 statement. “Municipal leaders must balance First Amendment rights with their responsibility to protect public spaces from hate-driven abuse.”
The ADL’s observations pertained to a broader pattern of behavior rather than being a direct response to Messano’s actions alone.
To begin, the headline insinuates that I’m guilty of “threats.” It’s no secret that the Mayor of Dickinson and the Dickinson Press have a strong aversion for me and wish to get rid of the truth I tell in any way they can. The Mayor is on record stating what I’m saying is “hateful,” and he doesn’t want me speaking in Dickinson. He has the right to his opinion, however mistaken it is. But, the problem is, he doesn’t have the right to try to use the law and law enforcement to infringe upon my Constitutional First Amendment rights, which he and Commissioners Odermann and Fridrich just did by voting for a memo, clearly aimed at me, attempting to end my ability to speak at City Commission meetings. Since November, I’ve been the only speaker consistently attending the meetings and speaking critically about what’s happening in Dickinson. Hence, it’s unsurprising that the Mayor, miffed at the criticism, would try to silence it with a clever end-around, claiming he has no problem with free speech. Still, he wants only residents of Dickinson to speak on “matters pertaining to Dickinson.” This is why Dickinson is $50 million in debt, because of people doing business as usual. There won’t be any changes until there are fresh perspectives. As long as the Dickinson Press is posting daily disinformation, lying by omission by hiding perspectives its owners don’t like, and then publicizing views its owners do like; it’s promoting a distorted worldview that keeps the people of Dickinson in the dark about what’s going on in their city.
”Tensions flared at Tuesday night’s Dickinson City Commission meeting when a familiar out-of-town speaker refused to yield the podium, prompting Mayor Scott Decker to declare him out of order. After continued defiance and repeated warnings, Dickinson Police officers escorted Ryan Messano from City Hall — an action that drew applause from a visibly relieved audience.”
Notice the subtle messaging in the article designed to arouse the audience’s dislike of an enemy of the Dickinson Press. Miller notes I’m an “out-of-town” speaker. We don’t know where Miller lives, but we do know that the owners of the Dickinson Press, who own multiple newspapers, likely don’t live in Dickinson. From the available information on the Dickinson Press, it’s owned by Forum Communications, which is owned by the Marcil family, which has owned newspapers from the 1800s in the region. There is very little information about the Marcil Family. I reached out to Dickinson Press publisher Joy Schoch (701 456-1203) and editor James Miller (701-456-1206) for comments, and I reached both of their voicemails. My experience with newspapers in the past decade is that they are quick to publish distortions of the truth, slow to correct the record, and rarely respond to criticism. The newspapers believe their viewpoint is the truth and seldom entertain the idea that their opinions may be dead wrong. This isn’t just a problem with the Dickinson Press; it’s also a problem with nearly all newspapers; the NY Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and NY Post, arguably the leading newspapers in America, have the same problem. Also, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) will be addressed later in the article. They definitely aren’t from Dickinson, but Mr. Miller, who claims to be so concerned about Dickinson, though Dickinson residents don’t own his newspaper, confidently cites the ADL’s opinion. So we see, Mr. Miller doesn’t care two hoots about who is from Dickinson or not; he is a biased partisan trying to attack views he doesn’t like while promoting opinions he approves of.
Mr. Miller then says that I refused to yield the podium, neglecting to say that I’ve spoken for 15 minutes at almost every meeting since November. When I called the city in November and asked how much time the speakers had, I was told it was 15 minutes. Since I began speaking, Administrator Dassinger and Attorney Wenko created a memo to limit speakers’ ability to speak based on where they lived and the time and content of their speech. This was plainly aimed at me and is an unconstitutional attack on free speech. There have been numerous attempts by the mayor to silence me at past meetings, with Mr. Dassinger actually cutting the livestream at one meeting.
Tyranny is defined as an arbitrary exercise of power. Mr. Miller sees no problem with me being interrupted by an out-of-control audience or violating my First Amendment rights. Why should he care? He’s paid to attack opinions his bosses don’t like. He doesn’t have to worry about the First Amendment because no one is attacking his ability to write whatever he wants.
Mr. Miller discusses “continued defiance and repeated warnings,” failing to recognize that a speaker has every right to speak for 15 minutes without being interrupted by the audience, city elected officials, or employees.
Mr. Miller continues with this gem, “Dickinson Police officers escorted Ryan Messano from City Hall — an action that drew applause from a visibly relieved audience.”
So we see, the media is approving of police officers being used to silence American citizens. If they can do this to me, they can do this to any American citizen. Apparently, Mr. Miller has a wildly perverted understanding of the First Amendment. He seems to feel that if certain audience members, likely plants, don’t like what a speaker says, they have the right to interrupt the speaker and pressure the Mayor to use police to remove the speaker. This is a frightening abuse of power and is totally opposed to the intent of the First Amendment. The media should support all American citizens’ right to speak their opinions. Mr. Miller fails to grasp this simple concept—free speech for him, but not for American citizens. Mr. Miller also fails to recognize that the First Amendment was created to protect the individual’s rights against mobs and hostile crowds. Miller doesn’t understand that America’s Founders had Jesus and Socrates in mind when they made the First Amendment. In both instances, we had men telling the truth who were wildly unpopular, and they were put to death by mobs, whipped up by rulers who hated to be exposed. The same thing is happening in Dickinson now.
Miller continues with this doozy. “Messano, during the public comments, took to the podium to continue his weeks-long pattern of targeting women, whom he has described as emotional and illogical.”
This is another perversion of what I said. He leaves out that I stated that women who stay in their sphere should be praised. America was much better off when women stayed home, had children, and stayed out of politics. He makes it seem like I have a problem with women when I only have a problem with women being in jobs and political positions they aren’t suited for. He also leaves out that 90% of my critics have been women who have been emotional and illogical. He ignores that I pointedly asked the Mayor, “Please show me one objective statistic demonstrating that the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote in 1920 has improved America.” The Mayor didn’t respond. So, Mr. Miller has selective hearing, picking out what he wants to hear and ignoring what he doesn’t like.
Mr. Miller continues, “In a tense exchange, preceeding Mayor Decker calling for a recess, Messano invoked the Second Amendment while railing against what he described as threats to free speech.”
He doesn’t appear to know that the Second Amendment was placed behind the First Amendment so citizens can preserve their right to speak when government officials interfere with the First Amendment. So, Mr. Miller is all right with citizens and elected officials interfering with my speaking rights. Still, when I repeat the remedy the Founders created to deal with tyrannical attacks on free speech, Mr. Miller interprets this as “threatening.” Mr. Miller was in the military and apparently never learned the Constitution that he was supposed to be protecting, lists the First Amendment before all others. Every member of the military, police, and elected officials must swear an oath to uphold the Constitution and the First Amendment, which Mr. Miller and the Mayor consistently fail to do right here in America in full public view. If they fail to uphold the Constitution in the public eye today, what were they doing in foreign countries, privately, when no one was watching?
Miller then accurately quotes an exchange between the Mayor and myself but still manages to miss the meaning of the order of the First Two Amendments to the Constitution. How can a man defend himself from tyranny if he can’t speak? He can be injured, stolen from, and even killed while being refused the right to speak to defend himself.
Miller then proceeds, “At that point, Decker cut him off again. Members of the audience began speaking out, and the meeting quickly devolved into disorder. Decker then called for a temporary recess.”
Here, he sees nothing wrong with audience members flagrantly disrupting the meeting and interrupting. In an orderly meeting, those disrupting from the audience would have been warned and removed. I don’t know who those from the audience were. It’s possible they were plants. I hadn’t seen them at any prior meetings, and while they had plenty to shout out when it was my turn to speak, they went completely silent to hide themselves when the mayor opened the forum for public comment. According to Miller and Mayor Decker, it’s ok for audiences to disrupt a meeting when it isn’t their turn to speak, but a speaker with unpopular opinions can be interrupted and removed from meetings by police. Is this a real journalist?!? I never interrupted one speaker I disagreed with, but the Mayor let two audience members interrupt me, including a city employee, Administrator Dassinger. The Mayor then proceeded to tell me I was being disruptive when I wasn’t the one interrupting. Mr. Miller sees nothing wrong with these blatant double standards.
Miller continues by quoting the Mayor, “Mr. Messano, I would ask you to finish your comments within one minute. Your comments this evening have been disruptive and you have not allowed us to conduct the business that this city needs to conduct. And, you have threatened us. I will give you one minute and then I will ask you to yield and leave the chamber.”
I hadn’t been speaking for ten minutes when I was interrupted. I had five minutes left, at least. I’ve been speaking for 15 minutes for the last 4 months, but suddenly, the Mayor decides I need to cut my remarks short because he has a few unruly members of the audience who refuse to stop interrupting. Mr. Miller sees nothing wrong with the Mayor’s blatant dishonesty in saying my comments are “disruptive,” which is the Mayor’s subjective opinion. At the same time, the Mayor ignored the audience members who were objectively disruptive by interrupting when it wasn’t their turn to speak. Mr. Miller leaves out that a man from the audience interrupted the meeting with a wildly out of order “Point of Order,” asking the Mayor to stop me from speaking because the man didn’t like what I was saying. With this kind of order, any American citizen can interrupt another American speaking by hollering, “Point of Order.” According to Mr. Miller, there is nothing rude or inconsiderate about people from the audience interrupting a speaker whose turn it is to speak. This is alright in Mr. Miller’s biased point of view. I’ve seen this kind of behavior in Vallejo and Sacramento in California, but was shocked to see it in Dickinson, North Dakota. I had higher expectations. The Mayor then lies that I was threatening him, noting that the Second Amendment comes after the First for a reason. If the mayor feels threatened by this, he needs to pass an amendment to rewrite the Constitution so that the Second Amendment no longer protects the First Amendment. The fact that the Mayor feels threatened by the order of the First and Second Amendments proves that he is unfit for public office and needs to resign. A man who doesn’t understand the Constitutional basics, and the Mayor has given numerous demonstrations of this, is unfit for any position in local, state, or federal government.
Miller continues, “Messano refused to end an extended set of remarks that included sexist and inflammatory rhetoric, defying the mayor’s instruction to conclude within one minute. When asked repeatedly to step away from the podium, Messano insisted on continuing with his pre-planned 15-minute speech.”
The words sexist, racist, anti-Semite and a host of others were created in the last 150 years by Cultural Marxists, who sought to dominate the public conversation with words to silence any who disagreed with them. Anyone who is called a “anti-Semite, racist, sexist, Nazi,” and a few other words is silenced and is nearly unable to respond to anything further. These words dehumanize, marginalize, and demean speakers, while those using them claim falsely that they are the ones being dehumanized, marginalized, and demeaned. This is gaslighting and projection, and Miller does this routinely. Miller leaves out again that I’d spoken for 15 minutes at every one of the past meetings I’ve attended and seems to think it’s ok to silence speakers for no rational reasons. He wouldn’t like it if his newspaper column was shortened to two paragraphs, but he sees no problem attacking other people’s speech. Miller also leaves out that other citizens have been allowed to speak for 15 minutes since November. Dave Beaudoin, a citizen of Dickinson, rose to speak at a meeting recently, spoke for 15 minutes, and was allowed to use slides. Mr. Miller has no problem with this. So, we see he has biased judgment.
Miller continues, “ After Messano’s final refusal to comply with the directive, Decker declared him out of order and requested his removal. When he would not leave voluntarily, three Dickinson Police Officers approached and physically escorted him from the chamber — drawing raucous applause from the audience.”
Miller again sees nothing wrong with the tyrannical use of police officers against citizens exercising their First Amendment rights. The media should be defending citizens against the government using unconstitutional force. Here, we see Miller celebrating tyranny. He acts like members of the audience clapping over tyranny, which is an appalling disgrace, is a wonderful thing. He doesn’t understand that what is right is not always popular, and what is popular is not always correct. It’s a tragic disgrace that we have American citizens who will approvingly clap as public officials use law enforcement to trample on the rights of their fellow American citizens. Mr. Miller also ignores that the police and elected officials swore an oath to uphold the First Amendment rights of every American citizen, not just the ones they agree with. He ignores that they broke this oath.
Miller’s biased narrative continues, “Outside City Hall, Messano is alleged to have become verbally combative with officers, according to witness accounts provided to The Dickinson Press.”
I did not observe any witnesses when I was outside, and Mr. Miller has a nasty habit of consulting all parties on his stories except the parties he dislikes. Then, he attempts to portray his story as objective and unbiased. He never contacted me for my comments on this or any other story. As already mentioned, when I tried to give my side of the story, Mr. Miller disapproved of a meeting because, in his words, he had “safety concerns.” So he has no problem writing biased and prejudiced pieces lacking understanding of the Constitution and history, but he’s afraid to meet with those he speaks about to clear up misunderstandings. Truly despicable.
A male officer monitored the entrance and the metal detector when I began attending the Commission meetings. He was friendly enough. At the past two meetings, there was a female officer. I wondered about this change. My wonder increased when the Mayor ordered my removal from the meeting, a Constitutional violation, and the first one up there was the female police officer. I’m sure she’s trying to do her job. She was pretty perturbed and was breathing heavily. It was appalling to me, as I support law enforcement, and to have police officers who I support angrily attack my First Amendment rights. It’s very disappointing and depressing for every single American citizen who supports the Constitution to see the police, who are supposed to be protecting us, instead being weaponized against us.
Miller continues, “At the end of the session, Mayor Decker addressed the incident visibly upset, offering an apology to attendees and stating that Dickinson is better than what occurred.”
A half-hearted apology like this won’t work. What is needed is a public apology for the attack on free-speech rights the Mayor has engineered over the past four months. Dickinson, North Dakota, and America are all appalled at the Mayor’s trampling of First Amendment rights, trying to cloak it by saying he cares that speakers are from Dickinson. It’s a disgraceful lie. The Mayor has employees who aren’t from Dickinson. One of the largest online public forums in Dickinson is on Facebook, which isn’t owned or regulated by Dickinson. The newspapers and televisions in Dickinson aren’t owned or controlled by anyone in Dickinson. Many corporations in Dickinson aren’t owned by people in Dickinson and worst of all, the Mayor has an international trafficking ring whose owner’s favorite restaurants are in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and this doesn’t bother the mayor as much as he’s bothered by critics of his at City Council meetings.
As a supporter of the police, it’s disappointing to me to have to do this, but the names of the police officers who obeyed the unconstitutional orders of the Mayor to remove me by force from the meeting were Officers Whinery, Priewe, and Steger. All three ought to be ashamed of themselves for violating the First Amendment rights of their fellow American citizens.
Miller marches on ahead, full of indoctrination and empty of knowledge and wisdom, “ Messano, a California-based figure of limited notoriety, is known locally for his inflammatory remarks at public meetings in Dickinson, as well as at other meetings across the country. His remarks Tuesday came in response to recent public appeals from female Dickinson residents urging the commission to take action against what many said they viewed as the exploitation of public forums to promote hate speech — including antisemitic, sexist and racist tropes.”
Miller attempts to portray me as a woman hater, leaving out that I simply promote the values that built healthy families a century ago that are neglected today. He also leaves out that the women speakers who opposed what I said were all ignorant of the First Amendment and basic American history. Although I’ve stated it many times, there are no exceptions for hate speech in the First Amendment; Miller feels that if he and others consider speech “hateful,” they are justified in interrupting it and ending it with force. Miller fails to understand that by his logic, those who view his speech as “hateful” are now justified in ending his speech as well. I’ve stated at least a half dozen times in Dickinson that cultural Marxists use terms like “antisemite, racist, and sexist” to shut down debate on topics they don’t want to be discussed. Yet, Miller either doesn’t listen well or comprehend what he hears well, as he blunders into the same errors of thinking millions of Americans make due to being deceived.
Miller continues with his illogical attack on speech he doesn’t like: “Messano, who does not reside in Dickinson, has become a source of growing frustration for many in the community who continue to voice concern over his repeated appearances and offensive remarks. Many question why a non-local resident is being permitted to dominate public discourse in the city.”
He repeats that I don’t live in Dickinson, ignoring that his newspaper is owned by people who don’t live in Dickinson. It’s hypocrisy to work for a company owned by people who don’t live in Dickinson but then to be indignant that other speakers don’t live in Dickinson. He also ignores that the education, crime, and illegal immigration problems in Dickinson are matters his newspaper has failed to resolve for decades. At the same time, they attempt to attack me for exposing these issues over the span of a few months. The best friend of Dickinson, regardless of place of residence, is the person who tells the objective truth, and Miller and the Dickinson Press have failed to do this for years.
“For Though We Love Both The Truth And Our Friends, Piety Requires Us To Honour The Truth First.”
– ARISTOTLE
Truth comes before friendships and residency, a concept Mr. Miller does not understand.
Mr. Miller acts as if he speaks for the City of Dickinson when it’s doubtful even a quarter of the residents of Dickinson subscribe to the Dickinson Press, even though there aren’t any other competing newspapers. He fails to understand that the First Amendment does not depend on people liking what is said. Television, radio, and newspapers (all owned by people who aren’t residing in Dickinson) are all free to publish their propaganda, deceiving millions, and Mr. Miller does not object to this, but if a citizen who doesn’t live in his city, begins speaking the truth, this bothers Mr. Miller tremendously.
Mr. Miller also ignores Plato’s statement, “No man is hated more than he who tells the truth.” Just because people are offended by the truth doesn’t mean a speaker must be banned. As for me dominating public discourse, Mr. Miller and anyone else can get up and publicly disagree with me, but he never has. Not one critic has educated themselves on basic American history and the Constitution. To Mr. Miller’s mind, if many people who haven’t studied a topic want to silence a person who has studied it, they should have that right. This is completely opposed to the letter and spirit of the First Amendment. America’s Founders understood the lessons of history that many times, there are speakers who tell the truth and will face tremendous unpopularity for opposing the corrupt powers. But they knew that unpopular truth needed to be heard. I’ve stated and’ll state it again: I’ll leave these meetings if one person can beat me in a debate on who controls the money and information in America. No one has taken me up on my offer. I even stated I’d pay $1,000 to the person who can prove that Talmudic Jews don’t control the media and money. There were no takers. If Mr. Miller is confident in his opinions, he should be able to defend them publicly against criticism. Still, he won’t and cannot, preferring to try to silence views he doesn’t like.
What happened last Tuesday may have been the first time ever at a Dickinson, North Dakota, Council meeting when a speaker was removed by police when it was his lawful right to speak. That is a travesty that should disturb every citizen in America. What the Mayor and police did in attacking the First Amendment rights of an American citizen was a slap in the face of not only myself but every single American citizen. It takes a lot of arrogance and conceit for one man to brazenly and publicly attack the very first right afforded the Founders to American citizens, the First Amendment. It takes arrogance and corruption for the media to act like hyenas and approve of this Constitutional overreach.
Miller continues with this glaring hypocrisy. “In 2024, Messano was arrested twice in Sacramento, California — once for violating a restraining order and again for refusing to leave the podium after being asked. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has documented Messano’s pattern of appearing at public meetings across the country to spread what it describes as hate-driven ideologies under the guise of civic engagement, identifying him as an affiliate of an antisemitic hate group.”
He confidently cites the Anti-Defamation League. (ADL), which is a Jewish non-governmental organization (NGO). The ADL is not owned or operated out of Dickinson, but this doesn’t bother Miller. The name of the ADL is a lie in itself, as it defames any American citizen, including myself, who publicly exposes Jewish wrongdoing. It claims to oppose defamation while routinely engaging in it themselves.
It is important not to forget that the ADL was started to protect Jewish Atlanta pencil factory owner Leo Frank who was credibly accused of raping and murdering 13-year-old Mary Phagan in 1913. She went to the factory to collect her paycheck and never came back out alive. Frank tried to blame two innocent black watchmen, and when the Jewish media tried to get him out of the death penalty, the men of Georgia broke into the jail and lynched Frank.
Here are two overviews:
https://messanonews.com/2021/07/mary-phagans-family-opposes-exoneration-of-sex-killer-leo-frank/
https://www.unz.com/runz/american-pravda-the-adl-in-american-society/
To this day, the ADL claims Frank was innocent. While they are defending guilty men, they are at the same time attacking innocent men like me who expose Jewish wrongdoing. Here is an article they did on me (https://www.adl.org/resources/article/antisemites-racists-and-other-bigots-are-hijacking-public-meetings). They lump me in with agent provocateurs like Harley Petero and Jon Minedeo, both of whom I disavow any connection with. Minedeo and his Goyim Defense League (GDL) went so far as to use an AI rendering of my voice to call into city council meetings with it using my name and voice, saying “F*** the k***s, and F*** the N*****rs.” There are probably people in America to this day who believe that it was me saying this, not realizing it was a clever hoax to portray me as hating all Blacks and Jews, which is effectively what James Miller and the Dickinson Post have been trying to do for months. Mayor Decker has been engaged in this as well, wittingly or unwittingly. Let us remember that the terms “hate speech” and “antisemitism” did not exist in the 1828 Webster’s Dictionary (https://webstersdictionary1828.com). The term “Hate Speech” originated after the 1917 Jewish Bolshevik uprising in Russia, where 40,000,000 Russians were put to death. If you criticized the communist Bolsheviks, you were put in insane asylums or put to death or in concentration camps. (https://www.hoover.org/research/sordid-origin-hate-speech-laws).
Miller also sloppily says I was arrested three times in Sacramento. Since he never spoke with me, he didn’t realize all three arrests were bogus. The first two were due to Sacramento Jewish Assistant City Manager Leyne Milstein filing a restraining order against me for saying “Your Day is coming,” after she imitated at least a half dozen audience members and members of the city council in interrupting me when it was my turn to speak. But we see the shoddy journalism of James Miller, who doesn’t bother getting the whole story, doesn’t bother checking with me, and instead recklessly posts whatever AI and Google searches tell him. The third arrest was when the Mayor interrupted me and then ordered the police to remove me when I tried to finish my prepared remarks. This doesn’t matter to Miller in his rush to judge without ascertaining all related facts. Miller is guilty of gross negligence in this article, as he also fails to note that a judge rejected the restraining order, as it lacked a credible basis. So, Miller supports rogue government officials in communist Sacramento and Mayor Decker here in Dickinson using law enforcement to attack the First Amendment rights of American citizens.
The last sentence of Miller’s above remarks is a complete lie, as I’m not associated with any groups at all, and his definition of an “antisemitic hate group” and reality are two different things. Miller’s definition says that anyone criticizing Jewish wrongdoing is a “hateful antisemite.” In reality, exposing Jewish wrongdoing isn’t hateful or antisemitic at all; it’s the duty of every American patriot.
Miller concludes his lazily crafted article with this remark. “
“This kind of disruption is not isolated — it’s part of a disturbing national trend,” an ADL spokesperson said in a January 2025 statement. “Municipal leaders must balance First Amendment rights with their responsibility to protect public spaces from hate-driven abuse.”
The ADL’s observations pertained to a broader pattern of behavior rather than being a direct response to Messano’s actions alone.”
I’ve mentioned my website numerous times, and I have articles on it exposing the ADL, but Miller is too lazy to simply search on my website for ADL and to educate himself. Miller accepted the Jewish-paid ADL as an authority when it was begun to defund a rapist, pedophile murderer. His standards would have him fired by any credible newspaper, but there are serious doubts about the Dickinson Press’s credibility. Radio, movies, television, and social media are all largely controlled by Jewish interests, and so NGOs like the ADL, NAACP, and ACLU are all used to try to attack anyone who exposes Jewish perfidy. Miller either is ignorant of or ignores that Jewish interests dominate the media and money in America. Hundreds of books on my website prove this, none of which are available at libraries or schools.
In summary, Mayor Decker ought to resign and James Miller is unfit to be a journalist anywhere.
Update: Letter exchange with James Miller: Editor of the Dickinson Press.
Letter from Mr. Miller:
Dear Mr. Messano,We have received your two phone calls regarding your concerns about the recent article on the Dickinson City Commission meeting.
Your objection to the article’s mention of your residency status, while noting that the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is also not based in Dickinson, is noted. However, the contexts are distinct. Your status as a non-resident was relevant in the ongoing public debate about non-local speakers dominating city meetings. In contrast, the ADL was cited for its documentation of a broader pattern of behavior observed nationwide — not specific to Dickinson — and clearly framed as such in the article. Our reporting provided a complete and factual account of the events that unfolded. The information included in the piece was verified, attributed and presented in context.
If there are specific factual inaccuracies you’d like to point out, we are open to reviewing them.

You’ve got the talent. We’ve got the opportunities.
“Southwest ND’s community-driven, professional and hyper-local newspaper since 1883!”
My response:
Dear Mr. Miller,Your newspaper is actively participating in one of the greatest attacks on individual liberties in perhaps the history of the state of North Dakota. It is because you don’t understand history, for there are no Founders or early leaders in North Dakota who would remotely agree with your blatantly unconstitutional positions. You can’t even defend your beliefs in a one on one discussion. You can’t get up in public to state and defend your beliefs. So, you are a coward, throwing stones from the shadows. Only you and God know what your evil motives are. No virtuous and wise person works for your newspaper or reads your newspaper. You have consistently demonstrated shoddy journalism, and if your coverage leads to me being injured, harmed, or jailed because of your libels and lazy reporting, you will be held responsible in any subsequent lawsuits. You have the audacity to defend people in the audience interrupting me as acceptable disruptions, but when I defend myself and read my prepared remarks this is “disruptive” to you, and worthy of being removed by police. What absurd nonsense.I’m afraid my not living in Dickinson isn’t relevant, as your newspaper is owned by people who aren’t residents of Dickinson, so your harping on this issue is hypocritical. What gives your owners the right to dictate the ideas for the people of Dickinson when they don’t live there? At least my ideas are my own, you work for others and would be fired for telling the truth, so it’s hard to respect the opinions of a slave. You were a slave to the US military and now you are a slave to the Dickinson Press. The ADL was started to defend a man who raped and murdered 13 year old Mary Phagan, and now you are going to have to explain to Dickinson why your newspaper supports organizations who defend wicked and heinous crimes. Why do you hide?Solomon told us,Proverbs 28:11] The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. That’s why you aren’t bold and you have no courage.Very well, my response article is going out to Dickinson. Your only supporters will be the corrupt, ignorant, foolish, and wicked. Luckily for you, half of America is functionally illiterate.Hopefully you educate yourself soon,Best,Ryan
